Robertson Airfield (FARS) is an operational regional airfield available for film, television, commercial and stills production, offering an authentic aviation environment within the Breede River Valley, Western Cape. The location provides wide, unobstructed sightlines, with the beautiful langeberg mountain range as a backdrop.

The airfield is available for controlled filming access, including exclusive-use options and temporary airfield closures, subject to prior approval and agreed operational parameters.

Safety, Permits & Insurance

• Safety plans and method statements may be required
• Filming subject to approval, aviation safety requirements, and signed location agreements

Pricing (Guideline)

Location fees are determined based on the scope and impact of the production. Factors include duration, level of exclusivity, and facilities required.

Indicative daily location fees start from:

• Airfield access (non-exclusive): from R20,000 per day
• Exclusive airfield hire / closure: from R50,000 per day

Additional fees may apply for:

• Hangar and clubhouse usage
• Operational impact and staffing
• Extended hours, rehearsals, or prep days
